goro had a tendency to father people who very clearly did not welcome fathering. it was a lawful trait for a barkeep to have, wanting to make sure no one is hurt or too intoxicated to safely get home. after all, it’s not like he had a place to keep drunkards. this wasn’t an inn. his 3-room apartment was barely enough space for himself and genmei, let alone someone crashing on his love seat.
