Got finished watching #Us... MY. GOD. Pros: LUPITA. NYONG'O. IS. A. NATIONAL. TREASURE (I know she's of Kenyan descent and born in Mexico; shut it lol). She carries this movie with her performance. Everyone that stars in this movie kills it, but LUPITA... Man... Jordan Peele can pretty much make whatever he wants now. He's a genius and is creating a new genre of horror as we speak. It's shot so well and there are so many incredible shots. WHOEVER COMPOSED THE SOUNDTRACK DESERVES A DAMN MEDAL. THEY👋GAVE👋I👋GOT👋5👋ON👋IT👋A👋 CLASSICAL👋MUSIC👋REMIX. Bruh, I don't even LIKE American horror (TORTURE PORN, JUMP SCARES AND GORE-FESTS DOES NOT COUNT AS HORROR, GUYS), and I plan on seeing it again. Also, a GREAT movie symbolizing the dual nature of America and its "Shadow" archetype (pick up a Psych book lol) Cons: I'm not a fan of horror, so there were some more violent parts that aren't for me. There was a dude vaping in the theater in front of us. I think Jordan Peele directed this movie so you'd have to watch it 20 times to get half the references. Still, go see it. See it on a date with someone because it'll be weird grabbing onto a stranger after... Well, go see it and you'll know what I'm talking about.
