Feltson AU: Emma goes to the opening of Harry Potter World in California
The camera flashes were bright and the silence was deafening as fans waited for more actors to spill out on stage. He smirked, turning in different directions and the photographers took his picture. He did this as the rest of his fellow Harry Potter cast mates were called, a roaring applause of star-struck fans rose to their ears. Evanna Lynch, James and Oliver Phelps, Matthew Lewis, and Bonnie Wright came out onto the stage behind him and took their seats to his left. But there was one seat to his right that remained empty and he wondered who it might be.
"And, finally, a sudden treat for you guys, Emma Watson!" And his head turned to the stage entrance. What was she doing here, he thought. He watched as a talk, brunette woman marched across the stage, wearing a long, black dress made out of silk. Her hair was piled on top of her head, a few tendrils falling from her head. Her lips were red and her eyes were smoky. She smiled and waved at the crowd as she made her way to the seat next to him. She looked away from the crowd and at him, her chocolate, brown eyes connecting with his blue for a moment before looking away. She sat down next to him, crossing her legs. He glanced at her from the corner of his eyes and noticed that she was looking straight ahead with a forced stare, clearly nervous.
"Welcome everyone to the Grand Opening of Harry Potter Wizarding World in Hollywood, California!" The crowd screamed and cheered in response. Tom Felton looked at Emma Watson and gave her a smile. She responded with one, a smile he hadn't seen since they were young. He began to hope that now everything will be better and it would be.
