There are some moments in life that simply cannot be described in words... To have been honored as #CutmanOfTheYear (for the third time) since I started putting into use my knowledge and combat/trauma experience into combat sports has been simply amazing and rewarding. Ive had the honor of being recognized the first two times by @fightbookmma as #CutmanOfTheYear and now by @global_boxing_organization only tells me that I am on the right track to leaving my thumbprint behind in combat sports just as I did in the military. I can honestly say that to receive an award is one thing but to hear these words in a personal message prior to being presented my award by #TheLegend @spiderandersonsilva was like the cherry on top on the sundae. His words and gratitude supersede any token I can be presented with. Knowing that my skillset and work are not being taken for granted just fires me up to continue giving my heart and my all to each and every one of the teams and the fighters I work with.
