My favorite new outfit reveal of the day is absolutely Gilly’s. She’s so sweet and adorable, and she’s been deserving a good costume upgrade for awhile. I mentioned in an earlier post that Hannah Murray said that she regrets the lack of pretty costumes/looks that Gilly has in the series, so she is long overdue for a makeover! I love how lush and cozy this cloak is with the fur lining and the big wrap/hood at the neck. First and foremost it looks comfortable which I think would be very important to the pragmatist in Gilly. Most of all I love the beautiful floral pattern trim. It’s the most opulent pattern work we’ve seen in awhile and I can’t think of anyone more fitting than Gilly, named after a gilly flower :)
