THE ISRAELI "SECURITY" CABINET APPROVED A PLAN TO OCCUPY GAZA CITY - HOME TO ONE MILLION PALESTINIANS.
Instant destruction in Gaza City this morning, after an evacuation warning. This is now the very place which Israel's security cabinet has agreed to take control of. The approved plan focuses very specifically on the largest city in the enclave, home to hundreds of thousands people.
Some here say they'll refuse to move again, having returned to their homes after being displaced before.
Overnight the Israeli "security" cabinet voted in favour of the complete occupation of Gaza City, paving the way for eventual, perhaps inevitable take over of the entire strip.
Not only the leader of the IDF, but many of the families of the hostages that believe this increasing military conquest of Gaza would endanger the hostages – which obviously would be a good reason to not do it if the actual goal was to recover the hostages.
But their goal is to just militarily conquer Gaza and slaughter Palestinians, they don't care the hostages, and Netanyahu and other members of the Israeli government have been VERY clear of their genocidal intentions since the start.
They have not yet approved the conquest of the entire Gaza Strip, but the "five principles" that the security cabinet agreed on make it clear that this military operation is not going to just end with Gaza City;
They already control the vast, vast majority of the territory, up to 87%.
Gaza City in particular has a very large population, around ONE MILLION PEOPLE ARE LIVING THERE.
Israel is trying to conquer Palestinian land, while still pretending that this is about the "five principles" that they have set.
Israel has made their plans to just take Gaza, take the West Bank and commit genocide very, very clear since the beginning. They declare loudly and proudly that they are starving Palestinians to death, moving them to a concentration camp, and committing ethnic cleansing.
They are going to have to move ONE MILLION PEOPLE in Gaza City – how do you think that's gonna go? Do you think that's going to go humanely? From the same people who murdered 1,600+ people waiting in line for flour?
Moving ONE MILLION Palestinians is going to be a slaughterhouse.
The Palestinians in Gaza City have cynically until October 7th 2025 to evacuate the area, and that's when they are going to launch their ground invasion. As was said, many people do not want to leave, or cannot leave.
These people have been starved, what are they going to do? So, so many people will he murdered as a result of that, if they even wait until October 7th.
Here is some satellite imagery showing the rapid buildup of infrastructure and military vehicles;

mateo had spent both friday night and saturday day and night at karlee's place. lexie had been quick to join them once karlee had passed on the information that mateo had dumped onto her lap the second his back hit her couch.
they don't actually ask him about the fight until they were walking a hike on saturday. away from all prying eyes and expectations.
it was lexie who started the conversation, mateo was a few steps ahead of the two girls and lexie knew they couldn't let him continue to stew in his feelings. "fess up." she started, picking up a small pebbled and launching it at the back of his knee. karlee let out a small laugh when it hit him.
he turned slowly, trying to keep the smile from joining his face. "fess what up?" lexie gives him a look, the kind of look that she gives when she doesn't want to explain that she knows. mateo knows the look well enough to know that she will explain if she has too and he really doesn't want her too. he sighs running a hand through his hair. "i was having a bad day, sophia was having a bad day, boom fight." he turns around like he'd just explained everything and the two girls share a look.
karlee coughs slightly before speaking. "you and sophia don't fight over having bad days, and if you do, you've never left the house for a day and a half because of it." the tone isn't accusatory but mateo can sense the multiple underlying questions in her statement.
"she implied that i didn't care about her." karlee and lexie side glance each other, speeding up their pace when mateo slumps back against a tree. "she had stress she needed to relieve and she took it out on me." he took a moment to breath, looking up at the canopy of trees that covered the trio. his brown eyes held a sort of sorrow that lexie had only seen going into the meeting with missy and mitra all those years ago.
"teo.." she started her voice softening, she croutched down, trying to look him in the eyes. "what exactly did she say?"
"she started by suggesting that-" lexie gave mateo a look, one he'd only really seen her give ace when the younger girl was trying to hide her anxiety.
"what did she say mateo." her voice was oddly cold and momentarily mateo thought about really pushing what he'd been trying too and argruing that what sophia had told him hadn't hurt him. that he hadn't sat in his car for almost an hour trying to stop the tears from rolling down his face. that his writing journal didn't have half a song planned and written.
karlee rested a hand on his shoulder, the added pressure was nice, giving him a stabilizing force to focus in on while he tried to explain. "it started with her suggesting that i didn't care about the girls of katseye because i made mac and cheese for dinner. it wasn't super nutritious and she'd already had a bad day so i guess that sent her off." lexie scoffed but didn't say anything. he thinks about how he's going to share what she said to him. it's not even like he couldn't remember what she'd said, because he could. it'd been playing in his head every second of silence since she'd said.
"teo?" karlee asks softly, he could see her glancing over to lexie out of the corner of his eye, and he realizes that he's probably going to get a text from both ezzy and mico when he gets home.
mateo continues, mostly because they'd opened the flood gates but also because he couldn't stand the silence during vulnerable moments like this. "she said 'god, it's like you don't actually like me'. to my face."
mateo wasn't sure to was possible but lexie's face got darker and her eyes turned cold. not wanting to look at his best friends face, he turns to look at karlee's expressions, which was softer, more understanding and more comforting rather than the dark storm brewing on lexie's face.
"oh mateo, you know she didn't mean it." karlee starts and mateo nods slowly. he knows that.
lexie speaks up, her voice surprisingly understanding for the anger brimming just under the surface. "she still said it, and that's not okay."
karlee nodded in understanding, turning her attention to the puerto rican man. whose hair was slightly ruffled and clothing now the typical amount of dirty from sitting on the floor of a hike. "when are you going to talk to her about it?" karlee asks, offering him her hand so that he can get up.
mateo laughs bitterly, "i told her i'd be back by sunday night."
lexie nods. "dinner time." she decides, heading back down the mountain they'd just walked up.
mateo points up over his shoulder. "we weren't done the hike yet though lex." when lexie doesn't stop or slow, karlee and mateo each give out a laugh and follow the shorter girl down the mountain. "guess we are then." mateo mutters as they fall into pace with lexie.
the diner goes as well as mateo expected it too, he explained a little more in detail and tried to get lexie to not spam sophia's phone with angry messages about 'how could she even dare say that about mateo'.
now, though it was sunday and mateo was standing in front of his apartment that he shares with yoonchae and sophia. he knocks on the door despite the fact that he has the key in his hand. despite the fact that it's been in his hand since he locked his car in the parking lot less than 5 minutes ago.
it's dani who opens the door. she'd in her pajamas which is odd because it's later than noon. the latina girl looks mateo over and her eyes soften. she steps out, closing the door behind her. the two of them sit in silence for a moment before dani pulls mateo into a hug. it's tight, really tight and mateo knows that it's supposed to comfort him. it does, of course, because daniela avanzini is the closest thing to a twin sister mateo has ever had. he wraps his arms around her waist and places his face in her curls.
"how is she?" he asks and dani lets out a soft laugh.
"of course, you're worried about her first." she teases pulling back slightly too look him the face. her hazel eyes meets his deep brown and she lifts an eyebrow before she speaks again. "mateo castillo, how are you doing?"
mateo looks away momentarily and it gives dani all the information that she needs. she doesn't speak though, she knows this routine with the back of her hand. he needs time to figure out the words he's going to say. "i can't get it out of my head dani." dani nods in understanding, sophia had told her everything, at least everything that the filipina had been able to keep her brain from removing over the last few days. "she implied that she didn't love me, then she implied that i didn't love her." mateo pulled away from dani and paced back and forth in front of his apartment door.
"she does love you." dani says softly.
"how do you know that for sure?" mateo asks and dani's heart breaks.
dani thinks about how miserable sophia's been all weekend, how she won't eat a full meal, that she'd only eat the mac and cheese that was left on the counter that mateo had made apparently. how she'd sat on the couch staring at the front door all of friday and saturday, wishing and hoping that mateo would come home earlier. that they'd taken her phone away from her so that she wouldn't call mateo to apologize and try to get him back. she hadn't even let herself cuddle with either tala or apollo because she thought that she'd 'scared their dad away' as if either cat knew what was going on.
lara had told yoonchae to switch rooms for the weekend and although that concerned the younger girl, she listened. it didn't really matter in the end because according to lara, she'd only gotten sophia to sleep when she was in bed with her, so that sophia had someone to cuddle. it was the habit of it dani supposed.
dani didn't mention any of this though, because mateo would forget about why he'd left in the first place and nothing would change. nothing big needed to change anyways but dani thought that mateo had to put some boundaries down, that sophia needed to find another way to deal with her negative emotions.
instead she decided to turn to a more positive example of sophia love for the man standing in front of dani. "remember when we were in dream and i asked you why you kept going if you knew you were trans." the puerto rican man nodded, the confusion written all over his face. "what you said stuck with me, because i think it was the first time outside of my parents that i really saw romantic love displayed in real life." teo looked at her like she'd grown another head. "you told me that you kept going because despite everything, sophia wasn't good with change and you were her rock in dream. that you forced her to remember to call her family, to see every thing. take breaks. not push herself too hard."
"what does that have to do with her loving me?" mateo asks as he stops pacing.
"when i asked sophia why she was at the buttons performance day during dream. while she was on death bed sick might i add, she told me that she was doing it for everyone, her family. but before she said your name she paused like there was more before it. she whispered your name to me like it was prayer and if everything else she held onto to support herself was so far away she'd lean on your presence." dani stepped closer and pulled her practically adopted brother into another hug. "she kept a photo of you on her bedside table for a year mateo, this girl is is down and out for you."
mateo lets out a wet laugh. "fuck okay, i get it."
dani nods. "good, now don't fold immediately simp, make sure she understands she needs to take up boxing or something."
mateo laughed good naturedly, "don't say that in front of lara, she gets weird about that sport."
dani laughs and pushed the front door open, letting mateo enter in front of her. "larz?" she calls out, popping her head into the living room where sophia and lara were cuddling.
lara looks up and notices mateo standing beside dani. she nods and pokes a slightly sleepy sophia. "fia... fia?" the older girl groans and buries her head more into lara's chest. "i know i've got good tits, but mateo's here and you two need to talk."
sophia shot up in her spot on the couch, her head snapping towards the front door. when her eyes land on mateo's she gets up so quickly. mateo opens his arm for a hug and let the filipina girl fall into his. "i'm sorry, i'm sorry" she says against his chest, her voice coming out muffled as a result.
"i know." mateo says after glancing at both dani and lara. the two girls nod at him and move to the entrance of the place to put their shoes on and leave.
mateo moves him and sophia to the couch, they sit there for a few moments in silence. eventually sophia moves away from mateo's body. "we need to talk." she says softly.
mateo nods then he takes a deep breath. "okay, sophia, you can't do what you did on friday night again. i get that you were stressed but i am not a punching bag." sophia doesn't say anything, instead she gestures for mateo to continue. "you're allowed to have your emotions but i'm your boyfriend not your therapist. over the weekend, i thought of a few things you could do to get those emotions out before they consume you. all things you don't have to share with others."
sophia nods. "like what?"
"journaling is the first thing that came to mind, it seemed to fit the kind of things that you already do. you of course don't have to do it but."
sophia cuts him off. "that sounds like a wonderful idea mahal."
mateo nods. "i apologize that i flamed the embers you were feeling on friday, i was also angry. not at you but just the world."
sophia nodded but mateo could tell she didn't particularly care about his apology. as if she didn't blame him. "i'm sorry for everything that i said. i do love you and i know that you love me, and the girls." she pulls mateo into a hug. "the tour is getting to me and missy had been on my ass." she takes another breath. "it's not an excuse and i think i'll try journaling so that i can get a better control and be a better communicator about the root problem."
