yknow everyone talks about how goro is kind of a fucking bitch who's really unreasonable about Everything in canon but like.

I do think when he inevitably shows back up he's more sensible than joker. like, deleted scenes show that he ended up going to a women's shelter he stayed at with his mom to try and gain some semblance of normalcy after the absolute horror his life became after his mother's death.

goro is generally more aware of his personal faults than joker is. ppl forget that goro isn't an egomaniac- he's just literally desperate. joker, however, DOES see himself as Literally Correct. joker is totally fine with brainwashing, he genuinely thinks the choices he made were right. goro does have his justifications, but he's still willing to acknowledge that what he did was flat-out murder. he does feel guilt over what he did.
