basically oshawott obviously told n how much of a shitty trainer turquoise was and this made n really, like, REALLY upset. i based it off a scene in mistralton city where n randomly, after the gym battle, asks ur first main pokemon about what kind of trainer you are + he finds out who you are and is pleasantly surprised that your pokemon like you BUT UHHHHHHHHHH WELL HE CHOSE THE OSHAWOTT WHO WAS NEGLECTED

n doesnt fight you here in-game, its not part of the battles you have with him BUT HERE turquoise has her own battle with him BUT ALSO. it isnt actually n who fights her cos THE OSHAWOTT FIGHTS TURQUOISE, DEFEATING ALL HER DRAGON POKEMON AND THEN INJURING HER BEFORE JOINING N WOOOOOOOOOOOOO LORE

it gains so much exp from this first battle that it evolves into dewott and leaves with n (if you’re curious how this oshawott won, remember the deadly and perfect move for this situation: frustration--)
