 “Purple colony” - Lewdi Lore

One type of research held aboard the Bora Starlight is how gem growth responds to different planet soils. Some may come weaker or stronger, and in some cases, a bad sample has been taken which caused many defects in a gem.

Such as in the case of Main Diamond servent, Lewdidot.

When grown, each gem goes through tense training to assure they can do their designated jobs they were grown to do. Lewdidot originated from a bad sample and when tested failed, every duty a peridot is made to do. Naturally, this angered the research overseer, White Agate, Never has a gem failed so miserable and had the gall to be smug about it like this little peridot. White Agate was content on Shattering her herself for such a disgrace until Head researcher and developer, Gothidot, stopped her. Gothidot took the small peridot away, before White agate could properly react, and began working on her to prove that she could still be made useful.

Noting the peridots high charisma and willingness to do anything and everything that was asked of her. Gothidot built limb enhancers equipped with many tools used for repairing, cleaning, entertaining, and such like that. Taking the peridots gem, she artificially colored her to a more appealing purple color and designated her as a “pearl” style job.

The new Purple Peridot was then given to White Agate to prove her worth as well as a status symbol of sorts in having a “fancier and more equipped” pearl. However, White Agate refused to admit Gothidot was right and instead mistreated the Purple Peridot at every opportunity she had. Gothidot caught on some time later and removed the purple peridot choosing to have her help her instead. Eventually, Purple Diamond became interested in the progress of the Purple Peridot and took her as her “pearl” and even left her in charge of going to planet surfaces to explain their peaceful reasons for coming to their planet, as well as personal assistants to any ambassador they take onto the ship as well, where she does anything and everything that is asked of her. (that’s where @saintdmac eventually meet’s Her, teaches her the ways of the internet and stuff you probably shouldn’t show an alien, and then gave her the nickname “lewdidot”)
