You realize a lot when you slow down.... - It seems I’ve been in sprint mode ,but running a marathon, since January. So many changes have happened, but not once have I slowed down to truly appreciate, take in and adjust to the changes. - But today, because of life’s random curveballs I was forced to slow down. Which although frustrated me, was a blessing in disguise. It gave me a chance to go outside and enjoy the gorgeous weather. While doing so, I had a thought. That all of our lives are that of water & every obstacle could be compared to a boulder. - Bare with me on this lol... but think about. You’re going along with the flow of your life and BAM a Boulder is dropped in your way. Now what to you do? Do you go around it? Over it? Or do you keep tackling that boulder with your persistence, knowing one day it will wear down to a small smooth rock? - Loaded questions right? Honestly I think it comes down to what that boulder represents and ones mentality. For me? I’m a persistent son of a bongo lol ...so I usually go for the harder path, the one of constantly tackling the boulder until smooths down. - For me the “path of least resistant” has not really been a phrase I’ve encountered. Sometimes I wish it was, but I also wouldn’t be who I am without all those rocks, boulders and mountains, that have dropped in the middle of my path. - Take a moment today to be thankful for all of life’s “setbacks”, “mishaps”, “failures” etc. Because even if they might be negative, they’ve made your life current Steiger and more unique to who you are! - >>>—->>🏹❤️👸🏻👧🏼🌸🤔🎶🤓🧐🛶🏔 - #thursday #slowyourroll #breathe #blessingsindisguise #gothroughittogrowthroughit
