I forget that being LGBT+ is a minority and not celebrated everywhere by everyone. I drown those thoughts out by consuming queer content and support online but I can't escape their views. My parents will not support me if I ever came out to them. That I may die one day for expressing myself. One day I may be disowned and isolated. That I can only wait until I'm 18 to leave. Even despite the trauma I've gotten from my parents, I'll still miss when they were nice to me, not yelling at each other or in a good mood that day. I'm prepared to do whatever for my own happiness but why like this? I'll wait until then.
