I was clowning myself in the beginning, then I started to like that idea. Now, imagine me as a guest character on RECESS. It’ll be an episode about family, traveling, and acting on ideas, while secretly linking all black characters together 😏. My character would be a stylish free spirit. A beautiful burst of sunshine. Everyone loves her, even King Bob has a crush on her but she pays him no mind. She often talks about life in LA and leaves the entire gang inspired to live out their wildest dreams.

This outfit was thrown on to run errands; I had a backpack full of orders to ship before picking up ‘Do the MOST’ shirts from the design office. I got back home and was like “why do I look like I went to school?!”🥴😂)

Ideal Relationship

After dating for the past month, I’ve found myself asking “What does my ideal relationship look like?” I have a feeling that I'll come back and add to this list; but here’s what I’ve come up with, so far.

I want to vibe and bring the best out of each other. I’ve always wanted someone to chill with me while I sew, so I imagine a relationship with a creative where we can share a workspace, maybe. I turn up when I’m in my zone, imagine having someone I can turn up with that’s also creating something dope. I want someone that I can bounce ideas off of. We should push each other’s creativity. 

Music is my biggest inspiration, so having the same taste is significantly important. I'm open to new music, it just has to be dope, it has to inspire me, has to make me feel a vibe. They lowkey gotta be a DJ and trust my DJing lol. Vibing together to music is equally as important. I shouldn’t be the only one dancing in the room, hell me dancing should make you wanna dance, we have to be connected in that way. If I can get the vibe that I look for when I go to clubs, they’ll for sure have my soul lol.

We should laugh frequently... I’m pretty funny and don’t take myself too seriously. I wanna be able to laugh and joke around. It may sound childish and aside from “laughing feels good” I don’t know why it’s important but it’s up there lol. Our relationship has to be fun!

I don't know what they should look like, or how much money they should have, but at the end of it all I should feel requited love and affection. I should feel confident in our relationship. I should feel safe with them. I need there to be room for us to grow together: creatively, emotionally and financially. We just gotta be good to each other.
