Since my daughter could walk she hasn’t been able to resist picking my flowers in the backyard. Over the years I have relegated to mostly succulents and other leaf plants if I wanted color in my yard. This evening she handed both my husband and I a little “gift” securely stapled in a paper bag. She was coy and all smiles. There inside the bag was one of the 12 flowers I actually had in my backyard. As soon as my flowers from Dragonfly Flowers arrived earlier in the week, she asked if she could pluck one. The girl can’t help herself.
