I’ve finished watching Inazuma Eleven Ares. It’s... okay, I guess. Here I write a random opinion. My mixed feelings are still there, like.. yes I liked Ares but... it could have been deeper... So much deeper.  They didn’t gave Inanuki Raimon Players properly backgrounds, like... you can see a bit (so little) of someones like Hanta or Goujin (I love him) but others didn’t have a background at all. And I would have loved to understand them better by properly backgrounds... The one better developed is Norika as I said before, she continued to be the one with the main focus alongside Asuto. I know that in the OG some of them didn’t have backgrounds either, but that series show them training and being a team more than in Ares. I felt more deep in Raimon Team in the Ogre Movie that in all Ares. Also, weren’t also Raimon Members Kurimatsu, Handa, Matsuno, Shishido and Kageno? (also Megane) Why didn’t they appear? :,c At least they’re shown in the background photo, but... a cameo? watching the last match? with Endou/Kidou/Gouenji/Kazemaru/Red Toramaru??? Kabeyama where were you??? Maybe I didn’t see them but they’re there??? (And WTF with Ponko, she is lovely but... WTF seriosly, can animals be turned in people now???) In the other hand... I loved Eisei Match and Hiroto, precious child, I loved him sooooo much! I didn’t expected liking him at all!. And Tatsuya, as a child, he is so lovely, he is so precious too, he is the sun, he is the light, Tatsuya is one of my ultimate favs for ever. This “arc” was my fav part of all Ares. When Midorikawa is helping Tatsuya and they... hug? I don’t know how to call it, precious. And Saginuma, I always liked him but now I like him even more. I’d have liked that Nagumo and Suzuno could have had more screen time because they were important rivals in the OG but it’s okay. It was a team that was in fact shown to trust and know each other really well. It’s normal if they’re all orphans and so but... With other teams is like “they really trust each other”, but you only see them playing, here they talk and are shown that. I’m happy that in this timeline they’re not used by their father for his own bussiness :,) good father here. Haizaki joining Raimon was so... unexpected, like... at least Kidou should have shooted him with a football ball like Gouenji did with him.  And the thing with Nosaka and Anna... it was... strange, I don’t know, I can see they wanted to develop a ship but I feel like they fail? I see more chemistry with Nosaka and Nishikage... Is this my fujoshi soul calling? Dunno, but well. I also liked the Flash Dance Shoot, it was really... gay, I laughed when watching it because it was going to be Goujin’s Hissatsu and wow.  In the end Goujin could use the Fire Lemonade, I thought it would be a forever pun but no, it’s a hissatsu now and they win with it and it made me really happy because Goujin is great and their teammates believed in him so much. It was one of the moments I really really liked. The other momment that was so touching was when the original opening started to sound as background music in Endou’s match. Endou is a cinnamon roll, he is so pure for the world. Anyways, I disliked that most of the characters seemed to be paler. Specially Endou, Kidou and Midorikawa. And that Endou didn’t appear in the opening or the ending! That was bullshit!! They should added him!!  I’ll continue watching Orion, but I don’t have expectations with it either, specially because I saw some scenes with Fudou that were so... OOC for him... (going straight to a fucking trap, seriously??) Summerizing, I liked Ares and it’s characters but I liked better the original. Anyways there’re a lot of sunshine children in Ares and was nice to see them in action.
