WIPs and plot bunnies

Hello!

Last week my writing blog reached 100 followers, and I’m so happy about each of the one hundred people interested in my writing. Really, one hundred people are many people, and it’s kinda hard to wrap my head around that.

Regarding writing itsel, it’s no secret I fell back in Free! hell came back to the Free! fandom when Season 3 started. And let’s say it didn’t quite meet my expectations, but I’m really hyped about my boys again and I have a lot of ideas.

...Which is what I wanted to get at. There are so many things I want to write that I don’t know where to start, and that’s why I want to reach out to you. I’ll list all of them, making a brief summary of what each would entail, and you can tell me the one(s) you are the most interested in.

Great! And now, the list.

Arqan: longfic, currently four chapters long (well, prologue+three chapter). RinHaru, Arabian AU, with djinns and magic and conspiracies and Sultan Rin falling (more) in love with Sheikh of a nomadic tribe Haruka somewhere along the way. Plot-heavy and one of the most twisted things I’ve ever thought up wtf @ self.

Sequel to your voice: RinHaru, magical realism AU where Rin is a demigod and Haruka still loves him because hey, nobody is perfect. It’d be an oneshot, way more light-hearted than the original fic.

The wizard’s cat: RinHaru, currently an one-shot where a demon cursed Haru and turned him into a cat and practically only Rin knows. You see, I posted it last night at 2am and somehow I want to continue it... At first I just wanted to write another one-shot, now from Haru’s point of view, but I’ve realised I want to tell this story until the end.

The continuation to Not a date and Different stories. Gousuzu, mostly canon compliant and light-hearted. Actually featuring my two bi icons being bi together. A.K.A. what I originally intended to write about the girls.

RinHaru merman AU featuring merman Rin, marine biologist Haruka and me crushing the Evil Scientist(TM) trope with my bare hands.

Toraichi/Miyako (Torako? Miyaichi?): An one-shot about Rin’s parents, from the moment they met until... probably beyond Toraichi’s death.
