Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of Atlanta, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is currently being sued by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to pre-empt her city-wide mandate on wearing masks. This past Thursday, the Governor filed an injunction motion to prevent Mayor Bottoms from speaking to the press regarding this matter. We are asking our Sisters and Brothers of the D9 to stand with Mayor Bottoms and support her as she defends these legal maneuvering. A social media campaign: “I oppose Governor Kemp’s lawsuit and motion to silence Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms from keeping the people of Atlanta safe.
