 Just for a moment, imagine.

Atreus and his mother having snowball fights.

A stray snowball hitting Kratos in the face because he got back early, and Faye just laughing so hard she doubles over. Then, Kratos just wordlessly bending down, picking up a handful of snow and chucking it at his wife.

Then its chaos with Atreus and Faye vs Kratos. And everyone just laying on the snow catching their breath as the stars come out.

So just to point this out, someone had to be illustrating that journal, and it probably wasn't Kratos.

Our boy Atreus has some serious art skills.

I wonder if Faye taught him.

And because I can’t resist (and can’t sleep), MORE CALLIOPE THINGS WITH SOME GODLY SIBS SPRINKLED IN (and other stuff? I don’t know I'm tired)

Calliope being a bit of a girly girl, but still roughhousing and sparing with Atreus when he doesn't feel sick. 

Her teaching him some breathing technique she uses to keep her temper, and talking to him in the middle of the night after he has a nightmare or something so her parents can have a break. 

Not really being one for fighting but still wanting to know some basics life how to wield a knife, and preferring using something like a bow staff rather than a bow or anything heavy. 

Atreus playing pranks on her. Harmless ones, but enough for her to be cautious. 

Her music having an effect on her environment, like causing plants to grow or water to freeze, and being able to sooth trolls to sleep or daze them. Her learning Kulning and how to put magic into it so she can be more helpful in confrontations. Preferring to being sneaky sneaky about things though.

I DONT REALLY KNOW HOW SHE ENDS UP IN SCANDINAVIA BACK FROM THE FREAKING DEAD YET, BUT IM WORKING ON IT BECAUSE I NEED SOMETHING TO DISTRACT ME AND I CANT FOCUS ON WRITING ANYTHING BUT RANDOM THOUGHTS AND IDEAS.

Sindri is bro of the freaking year. Just... wow.

Random thought. Being able to understand and hear animals must have led to some really intense/weird/terrifying fever dreams when Atreus was sick. Future vision too...Point is, Atreus probably had intense fever dreams. 

Dam it plot bunnies.

Ok, as much as I love our boy and dad of war, both stories with them are hitting a brick wall. So what I'm gonna do is take a break from those, and write something on Brok and Sindri because there is not enough of them out there and they deserve love.
