S: Just because my dad is into that stuff, doesn’t mean that I am.

W: *sighs* What my friend here is trying to say is “I’m not sure. Let me think about it. Thanks for the offer though!” S: Yeah... W: Would you like to join us? B: Thanks, I’d love to!

Sydney’s friend William came over, and they had a conversation about Syd’s situation at the new school.

Sydney: “It’s like they all hate me, and I have no idea why!” Will: “That sucks... but I’m sure you’ll find some nice people eventually. You’ve made friends with plenty of people before!”

Sydney: “No, you’ve made friends!! And then they end up being my friends too by default!! I have no idea how to talk to new people!”

Will: “...” Sydney: “Sorry... didn’t mean to take that out on you, I just...” *crying*

Will: “I’m sure it’ll be okay, Syd. I mean, even if you don’t make any new friends, you’ll still have me and the gang back in Willow Creek, right?”
