i feel like i'm not giving gabe enough attention in my will smith x hughes!sister au, but tbh every time i try to conjure up a girl for gabe, i just get the vibe that his perfect girl wouldn't come until later. like gabe, to me, is the type to date the absolute most coolest girl to ever walk the planet, and everyone is befuddled on how that happened.
will and ryan are currently in relationships with riley and ellie, and then one day, gabe announces out of nowhere that he is seeing someone; when they finally meet her, she appears cool. i imagine her to be a little grungy, likes loud music, and rough around the edges and can sometimes come off a little bitchy.
we know in my au that riley loves gabe like a brother, and i think that she would not like this girl in the beginning because she's a bit standoffish, but after meeting her (and gabe begging her to at least try and get to know her), she'd really start to like her.
anyways, if this were to ever come to fruition it would definitely be later, like once the guys have all been in the nhl for a bit.
