I'm in my second year of college & I did terrible my first year. I had mostly C's, two D's and three A's. I'm freaking out about getting my gpa up. Do you think I'll have enough time and that I can do it?
You have plenty of time. It is not unusual for freshmen to underestimate the toll their first year of college takes. Your first year really is a learning experience all around.
Now that you are aware of your GPA and you have a pretty good grasp of how this college thing goes, you’re going to do just fine. Just don’t let the panic get to you.
Here is an awesome link for you: http://www.back2college.com/raisegpa.htm - this site acts as a GPA calculator. You enter your current GPA, desired GPA, credit total, anticipated grades, etc. and it will provide you some insight of what it will take to raise to your goal GPA.
I suggest using the calculator now and then again halfway through the semester - that way, you can have a better idea of your anticipated grades this semester for more accurate results.
