the first time jiroo had met nuri, she was reserved and nose deep in a medicine book that even he hadn’t recognized at first glance. he’d watched as some of the rookies of the lost boys had came up to her, though lost boys was her gang she hadn’t seemed entirely sure of herself when telling them where to stick it and hadn’t seemed entirely comfortable in a gang with only men. he’d spoken to her that day, as another medic to a fellow medic at first it was just about medicine and how they’d taught themselves on it, but with time he’d grown to know more about her and a tentative friendship was there, coffee dates became a regular to keep a check on each other and lend a listening ear. he smiled small as he sat down beside her for the typical coffee and a chat. “how are things, the boys learning not to mess with you?” he joked lightly as he offered her the coffee, he knew her order off by heart within the first time they’d done this. “and were the books i gave you from my collection any help? i know they aren’t like the ones you probably used to study with but they’re ones you can’t get for supply like that but usually a lot more insightful” @gpnuri
