Making GPS Tracking Systems a Part of Our Lives
Many of us may recall that the USA introduced the Global Positioning System (GPS) in the 1970s and that this technology was solely used by the US Armed Forces for the detection of incoming conventional and nuclear missiles as well as for unidentified aircrafts of the enemy. The US air defence GPS technology does much of what this technology does for civilians today. The defence oriented GPS technology could identify and geographically locate the position, speed, acceleration, deceleration, travel route and direction of the incoming missiles and aircrafts within a few seconds. It was stated by the US media that this technology was a much more advanced air defence detection system than the conventional radar system. In the 1980s the GPS tracking technology was readied for use in the civilian community which proved a great boon for the common American man and woman in their needs for tracking and monitoring vehicles of all kinds. Within a few months, the new GPS tracking technology was being used by common people in other countries. Further financial investments and Research and Development were done in order to advance the technology of GPS and the net result was that this technology was soon extensively widened, so much so that all cell phones, tablets and laptops are today retailed in mega showrooms and malls with a pre-loaded GPS software for immediate application as a digital navigational compass. Today, the GPS tracking software in the cell phone, tablet and laptop does not only track the targeted objects but also alerts the tracking person as to dangers at various levels that may occur from time to time. These dangers can also include life-threatening situations and the corresponding alerts are transmitted by the tracker device in the form of notifications on the display unit of the handset or the laptop along with audio sound signals. The notifications are simple and easy to read texts in the language of the handset or laptop user. Additionally, the trackers are not only for use in vehicles of all kinds but also for human security needs as is the case of young working women and young men and women returning to their residences after late night shifts; also included are school toddlers and school children, pet animals, etc. It is clearly obvious that the rate and incidence of serious crimes have increased not only in urban cities around the world but also in villages.
White label refers to a product or service that is purchased by a reseller who rebrands the product or service to give the impression that the new owner created it. White label products are often produced via mass production. Some companies may offer a particular service without any investment in the technology or infrastructure. The producers can increase sales by allowing another company to sell a white label version of their product or service. The company paying to put out a white label product gains by adding another service or product to its brand without having to put the resources into developing it.
