Hefty footsteps would be the first thing heard of the Grey Prince’s approach, hefty footsteps and the brushing aside of undergrowth, muttering to himself about being lost. GPZ was making no attempts to hide himself, he didn’t care to. He was strong enough to break any threat with his bare claws.
“Bretta,” he calls, though he knows he’ll receive no answer. He’s scoured the kingdom from crown to ancient basin, with no luck. All he’s found himself is trouble, and the misery-inducing knowledge he refused to accept: she was gone. He had failed his only purpose in existence.
Unaware how close he is to the moths’ home, he eventually sits down, and sighs. He leans on his greatnail, and shakes his head. He’s been searching for days, but this new realm takes some toll on him, and eventually exhaustion finds him. It was still so new, and he still hated growing weary. He has little choice but to rest for now.
