The bride
Okay so Grace sold her soul and wrote her name in Le Bail's book when she married Titus Danforth and we know she is recognized as both a Le Domas and a Danforth now. So does that mean that even though she rescinded her power over the council and left it that she is now the only person alive who still has a deal with the devil. Not to mention the only heir to the Le Domas and the Danforth Dominions. I want a third movie that is just the sneaky lawyer showing up in Grace and Faith's lives being like, "Here are all your assets, here is the power you have - even without the council, and here are the conditions of you selling your soul." With Grace and Faith both just being increasingly frustrated with all of the bullshit.
Anyone else think Grace didn’t really best Le Bail and Titus will be resurrected in a possible sequel? They both signed a blood oath, and Grace’s wedding vows were literally: “And do you take this man to be yours, in flesh and spirit, in this world and the next, unto the fires of hell?”
This is very different from the typical “till death do us part” line. It’s implying some kind of unbreakable tether that could come back to bite Grace in the bum, if the franchise continues. I also don’t see how she could kill her husband when the lawyer specifically said: “what he hath forged in hell, let no mortal tear asunder.” It seems like Grace might’ve escaped the organization, but she’s still gonna be under Le Bail’s thumb.
