Alabaster’s bedroom! I still need to add some stuff to the walls but the room is fairly open so he has room to exercise.

Also he has 2 desks because... I didn’t think it through, shh...

Some more decorating photos of the Grace home!

The kitchen/dining/living area is one large, open area, but I wasn’t satisfied with how the living room part originally looked... I’ve been wanting to attempt a sunken living room for quite some time and it actually worked out for me! I play tested it and everything!

So here we have my breakfast nook on the top and the sunken living room on the bottom. The kitchen area is still a work in progress but the photos I took of it were taken before I recolored the walls so I’m not going post a photo of it yet...

First bits of furnishing and decor of the new Grace PGC home: the master bath and master bedroom!

It’s a large house so I’m doing it piece by piece. It’s slow going but I’m really enjoying it! I finally got my inspiration back.

I also may not be using Reshade for my gameplay screenshots but I will happily overuse it for photos such as this!

Also please excuse the poor lighting in the bedroom, I forgot to place more of the lights.

Current WIP: A new house for the Grace PGC.

Rambling under the cut as usual.

Okay, so first things first: I have been putting off building a new house for the Grace’s for a long time. I liked their previous house (not to mention that I put a lot of work into it fairly recently/when I picked up the save again) but the fact of the matter is that the house is just too damn small. I tried to add an addition onto it without destroying the style that the original creator had awhile back but it looked so terrible that I scrapped it and thought I might as well deal with the small size. However, going in game last night made me realize that it was just never going to work and I might as well build a whole new house.

First off, the shape of this house is kind of odd but I wanted to try a more unique house shape (I guess?) and ended up with this. I really liked how their old house had a wraparound porch so I tried to, like... Have an homage to it by adding the porches to the front and back. I like the front but I’m not yet convinced on the back, I’m considering redoing it and having it wrap around the back more. If I don’t do that I may put a roof over the back right porch (similar to the one in the front)?

What else... Looking at these photos, I’m thinking I might bring the side addition on the right to the front more... I’ll have to put the driveway in and see how I feel afterwards. I need to figure out wtf is going on with the back of the roof because... Even though it’ll never be in any screenshots, it will still bother me, lol. I also need to place the windows because it’s hard for me to decide if I like a house or not when the windows aren’t in yet. Also, I have no idea what the interior of this damn house is gonna look like. Also I might finish this house and decide I hate it and scrap the whole thing, who knows!

Basically every time I play the Grace’s I’m just thinking of the house I build for them in Isla Paradiso and how much I miss it.
