Visiting Grace

[Stiles]
Stiles found a way to get into Grace’s rehab facility to see her. He brought some of her favorite flowers with him. Arriving at the door, he knocked and patiently waited for her to open it.
[Grace]
Grace had been in rehab a couple of days and she didn’t know when her mom would be coming back for her. All she knew what was that it had been days since she had seen anyone. She heard a knock on the door and stood up to open it.
[Stiles]
“Sorry it took so long but I had a hard time finding this place.” He tells her before offering her the flowers. “I didn’t want to wait to see you and I wanted to check up on you and make sure you were okay.”
[Grace]
When she saw Stiles she was confused as she looked at the flowers. She remembered how they left things and she nodded, “I...um...yeah I am fine. I am not supposed to have visitors though. How did you get in here?”
[Stiles]
“I have my ways of getting in here you know.” He tells her, “Besides, I missed you.” He tells her, “Can I um...can I come in?” He asks while looking at her.
[Grace]
“Um...sure.” She said moving out of the way so Stiles could come in the room. She bit her nail as she watched him. “You can set the flowers on the dresser.”
[Stiles]
He stepped into her room and set the flowers on the dresser. “I um...so how have you been while here? Are they treating you right?”
[Grace]
“After I left the house I went to Peter and now my mom is back...he sent me here as soon as he got back.” She said as she closed the door. “They are fine. I’m on this schedule that they make me eat things.” She told him. “Are you here to take me home?”
[Stiles]
“I can take you home once you start eating on your own and you are better.” He tells her honestly. “I think your father might be mad if I were to take you out of here before you were ready.”
[Grace]
“My dad doesn’t even know I’m here and why would he care?” She asked before hearing he wasn’t taking her home. “Please Stiles. I just want to go home, I promise I will start eating. I just want to go home.”
[Stiles]
“Yes he does? What are you talking about? I can’t take you home Grace, your mother doesn't even know I found you here. They would just bring you back if I took you home.”
[Grace]
“I haven’t seen my dad since he slapped me. Why would he care where I am?” She said before moving closer to him. “Please Stiles, don’t you miss me?” She asked as she let her hands play with the button on his shirt. “I miss you.”
[Stiles]
“You know your father didn’t mean that.” He tells her before watching as she walked closer to him. “Of course I miss you, why else would I be here darling?” He asks while watching her play with his buttons.
[Grace]
“Yes he did and he’s not sorry for it.” She told him before undoing his buttons. “Then take me home. Please take me home Stiles.” She begged before pulling back and taking off her sweater.
[Stiles]
“I can’t take you home baby girl. You know that.” He tells her before stopping her from undoing more buttons.
[Grace]
She felt him stopping her and just scoffed as she moved away from him, “Then leave. I don’t want you here. I broke up with you. That means we are done, so leave me alone.”
[Stiles]
“You broke up with me because your mother was sending you away, not because you wanted to.” He tells her. “I don’t think that is truly what you believe you want.” He tells her.
[Grace]
“Yes it is.” She said as her eyes turned red. “I would be fine if you didn’t break up with me for my brother. None of this would have happened if you didn’t use me to get back at him. So when I broke up with you, it was because I wanted to. So leave.”
[Stiles]
“I don’t want your brother Grace. I was confused by it all. I thought what I wanted was him but I didn’t. I realized that it’s you I can’t live without. I am not going to give up and I am going to fight for you everyday if I have to. I will do whatever it takes to prove that you are the one that I want.”
[Grace]
“I don’t want you Stiles. So leave me alone. We are over. You broke my heart for someone who didn’t want you. I gave you every part of me and that wasn’t enough for you. So no you do not get to come here after all of that. You and my father could disappear for all I care and I would not miss you. So get the fuck out.”
[Stiles]
“I don’t care what you want because what you want isn’t what you want. It was more than enough for me I was just too stupid to see it. I thought it was him but it was really you that I wanted all along. I changed so I could be with you Grace. I want us to be together, get married, have kids together. I want all that with you.” He tells her honestly.
[Grace]
Grace just laughed, “Why would I marry you? So you can fuck my brother when I’m not around. I don’t want to marry you and I don’t want kids with you. I want you to leave.” She said, putting back on her shirt. “I have to go, just...stay away from me.” She said as she handed him back his flowers and opening the door for him.
[Stiles]
“I am not giving up, you know. I know things are hard now but I am not giving up.” He tells her before leaving the flowers and going out the door.
