Julie texts to let me know she and Heather are stuck in traffic.
Julie: Stuck in parking garage hell. Never getting out. Send provisions.
Me: I'll send those giant fucking eagles from Lord of the Rings.
Julie: Day 32. Everyone has run out of gas. We smell. Heather looked at me as if I was dinner. We are dying here.
Julie: Day 39 we r running out of battery life. the end.
Me: Hey so this is awkward but can I have your ipad? What with you being dead and all?
Julie: Fly your eagle here and pry it from my cold, spoiled, dead hands.
This weekend rocks.
Yesterday Heather came over and made us dinner, and was kind enough to watch Gilmore Girls with me for like 2 hours while I flailed and sobbed over Jared Padalecki. Then Julie came over and we all tumbl'd and huffed my "Opie Winston Candle" (which in actual facts is the Fireside candle that Melissa gave me, that I call the Dean Winchester candle but they're big SoA fans so what can ya do.) Then we went and rescued Brady from a BBQ full of Anthropology Majors - not even making that up. Then we went to hookah and a late night snack at a great diner.
Then today I went over to Beth's for Buffy. But as soon as I got to her neighborhood a transformer blew so we didn't have power for like 4 hours. So we just sprawled on her couch and talked and talked and derped on tumblr on my phone until the power came back and then we Buffy'd it up for a few hours.
I am now home and Julie is on her way over. Ya know why? That's right. Because this weekend rocks.
HOLY CRAP THIS WEEKEND
I probably won't be online again for like another 36 hours which gods know is like FOREVER for me. BUT LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS WEEKEND WOOOOO!!
