What was your favorite book growing up?

Bedtime for Frances was my all-time favorite little-kid book (Frances the Badger was my HERO tbh), and then I also loved Matilda (which I have tattooed on my arm). When I got a little older I was very into Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Treasure Island, or basically anything set aboard a ship. The Oz books were also big at our house.

My dad read to us every night when we were kids, and I remember after we worked our way through Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings he started us on the kind of books he liked, so he was reading to us from The Sword of Shannara when I was like nine or ten. Lots of fantasy and sci-fi at a very early formative age.
