Hey!! So Just Add Magic is an Amazon Prime Original live-action series from around 2015 where three twelve-year-old girls find a Magical Cookbook! It’s mostly an urban fantasy/mystery show, and imo it does the mystery part incredibly well!

The older lesbians (who are unfortunately not canonically dating) are the girls’ mentors, who had the cookbook before them, and it absolutely tore their friendship apart! Their scenes together have a lot of underlying tension that can very easily be read as unresolved feelings!

(Also, one of them is one of the MC’s grandmother, and they’re all varying shades of grey (some lighter than others))

That’s about all I can tell you lest I spoil it, but it’s genuinely really really good!! Though the target audience is preteens, and the first few episodes of season one are admittedly a bit goofy before the intrigue really pulls you in!
