I am working on an Interactive Magazine that is a bit of a guide to Saxapahaw, NC. I am hoping to include stories about the local people, cuisine, arts and active/nature in the town. It is along a river and the community is quite small but has been feature in some really great articles, including ones for The Washington Post and The Huffington Post.

My sketches for the interactive magazine are done, now I need to wireframe them in InDesign.

So I'm possibly going to my advisor tomorrow to narrow down a graduate thesis. I'm trying to decide if I want to write on a musical or if I should do a more traditional music history subject and then do a show for my doctorate. If I did a show I'd want to do one of these (taking into account that the older and more popular it is, the more information there will be to go off of):

Something leonard Bernstein (but I'm not a fan of Candide), maybe on the town

maybe tv and music and musicals (can it give me a reason to watch Blackpool and glee for forever?!)

If I did a more legit thesis I'd maybe do:

something with women and music (last sem did a project on women and music in the medieval and renaissance eras)
