This shot was used in an article in Alien Encounters to describe slime encountered in Britain after reports of a meteorite flashing across the skies in 2013. The article's author dismisses the photo as "...not a depiction of the actual space slime discussed in the story but a stock photo of everyday ordinary slime". But can you trust a writer for Alien Encounters? And if this is "ordinary, everyday slime", just what does his or her handkerchief look like after a bad dose of phlegm?
