Here I experimented with something completely different. I was looking at a photo from up north, the Isle of Storr. I thought it might be interesting to add other textures to a painting, and go larger in scale. I used packaging paper and a chocolate wrapper, I just wanted the darker tone. I don’t think this works together as a whole at all, it might be a nice composistion just painted with the tape structure, I might take the tape off and change it to brown, but I don’t think I will be developing this idea.
After my 1st development 1 to 1 with Alan, I was saying that I like some of the work I was doing but felt a bit stuck where to go, I do like the tape house painting and want to develop that idea, we came to the conclusion that I have not enough visual research which I kind of knew, so I will be sourcing landscapes and structures to visit and document asap.
