The knights follow him and he gets shot with an arrow. He falls into the lake full armoured and starts to drown. Soon enough he faint.
Percival wakes up on the ground near the lake. And he sees the boy who quickly returns into the lake after he has understood that Percival is awake. As Percival has nowhere to go he decides to stay near the lake. Soon enough he sees the boy again. Long story short they somehow star to communicate with each other and Percival leans that the boy’s name is Credence and he’s actually a merman. And then Credence tells Percival all of his story. Credence is actually a prince of the kingdom. Ten years ago when he was about 12 - 13 years old his father died from the fever. And as he lost his mother long ago Credence had to become the king. But he was still underage to rule the kingdom on his own so he had to had a regent. His father’s advisor was appointed to take up that position. But he was not as loyal as anyone thought. He turned out to be a dark wizard with a desire to become the ruler of the kingdom. So he enchanted Credence into merman so as he could became a human being again only when it’s full moon. And using magic he also made all the people of the kingdom forget about Credence and consider himself as a true king. Credence obviously have tried to return the throne but he almost was sentenced to death when he manage to reach the kingdom and declare himself as a lost prince. So he kind of gave up on that after several years of trying. So as Percival owes Credence a life and he has nowhere to go, he offers Credence his help to defeat the dark wizard and return his throne. all of this (the pictures and the story idea) was inspired by BEAUTIFUL video ‘Fisherman and the Sea Prince’ created by @momosansovino (thank you for that beautiful story that make me feel so inspired!). and the lines on the pictures are all from Bastille song ‘Daniel In The Den’
