27/100 days of productivity Productive Thursday morning: Went for a run in the morning and now I'm listening to music, because I need to calm down a little bit about my grad thesis presentation, which I have this afternoon.

I finally had a meeting with my graduation thesis mentor-to-be!

I will apparently be working on data produced by nanopore and will be participating in the process itself!!! So fucking excited, since bioinformatics is mostly being a computer nerd with little to no lab interaction anyways. Man I am so hyped to start working on that paper and help in the lab :D

I wish we had more interactions with the lab and seq.generating technologies, but I do understand that that is a hefty thing to ask of any course.

Today is just a good day tbh

I was a university student majoring in environmental issues. That day, I had stayed up all night doing experiments for my graduation thesis, and at dawn, I casually put up a cassette tape in the waiting room, and this song was played.

Until then, I hated Yumi Arai and made fun of her, but what a good song. It seems to speak directly to my tired but sharp mind. I estimated this person for the first time.
