Palouse Grain Fields After Harvest, Whitman County, Washington, 2011.
grainfields in summer 🌾 revisited heßloch today to walk a different path and while there were no roe deer around this time, i surely enjoyed the scenery that was so different from my first visit ( which was mainly in the woods and through orchard meadows ). there were so many wildflowers and i also ate a lot of wild cherries and tinted my lips and hands red with their delicious juice. it started to rain halfway through, i hid under apple trees to shield myself from the rain and it was soothing to watch the rain softly falling on the grounds. i met a leonberger dog as well, which greeted me with his massive body and soft long fur, big as a wild beast, but sweet-tempered in his demeanor. i exchanged some words with the owner about photography and the beauty of nature and it felt good to not feel annoyed by a human being for a change. heßloch, i really like you, you welcomed me warmly the second time around and now you are on your way to turn into my most favourite wiesbaden district after all ❤️ #heßloch #wiesbaden #grainfields #wildflowers #vorort #rurallandscapes #summer (hier: Heßloch, Hessen, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/CB_FG7Qn1YA/?igshid=7x36cucznp7q
