Ajita smiled their ever expressive smile, the small bag of vegan cookies in their hand a beginning of many still waiting in the huge shopping bag behind them. It had a tiny message about their and KJ’s campaign, and every cookie was decorated either with a christmas tree, a snowflake, or a snowperson. She handed the bag to the first onlooker. “Merry Christmas, could I interest you in some free cookies? They’re homemade, 100 percent vegan, and absolutely delicious.”

Rhys had a stomach ache from all the candy he had eaten.

Too much candy.

WAY TOO MUCH CANDY.

He walked into Riff’s Raffs… Raff’s Riffs? RiffyFaffy? - and right up to Gram standing there.

“I ate too much candy,” he said. 

Smiling back at Gram and leaning his elbows on the counter.

He really liked Gram, he was so strange, but normal, but not really normal.
