Both of us have the types of personalities where we come up with these amazing ideas and then tell everyone about them, and then never do it. This time was different. We had just starting gabbing one day about all of our interests, and "how cool would it be if we did this?!", and so on. Then we looked at each other and said "lets do it". But how the fuck do you start a business with (like I mentioned) no business degree, no experience, and no money? We started typing and drawing and looking up names of things that sounded neat and inspiring to us. Most of our time was spent at a local coffee shop on the internet trying to find anything inspiring. We finally come up with a name. Everyone hates it. Shit. We browse books and more interneting. We find another name & our hearts sink into it. We visualize it, and it works. People dig it. Cool. Luckily a friend had let me borrow a book called Successful Business Plan on how to construct an entire business plan step-by-step. (If your friend didn't do this for you, get a new friend and an Amazon account and buy a copy.) This book tells you things like how to create an LLC and government websites to check out. None of this shit we knew. So, the first real step we did was register for an LLC. Google it. & fill out the form (we used legalzoom). & pay their fee. A few days later we received a letter in the mail with our LLC name on it, saying we were accepted!
