Manor house built by a Sinhalese chieftain afflicted to the British overlords in the 1920s. Guy was absolutely opulent having a 20 strong dance troupe living with him, and a dance hall where only viewers were him and his wife. His lady was childless, and for that 'crime' he drove her out divorced her, but sent her food from the lands' crops.
He converted to Catholicism in his early 20s, despite his family being Buddhist businessmen. His wedding was attended by two British royals and an Indian Raj. In the 1950s he died alone some years after his divorce of a heart attack.
