Omg thanks a bunch, I'm playing with some more experienced guys and they help me from time to time and the first thing I bought was duel decks, I've already bought a toolkit and a fat pack and I'll buy a couple booster packs from time to time. I'll definitely check out some of those sources to try getting a better grip on deck building, I just redid my white green deck and did a little editing on my green/black but thanks a lot your the best <3

You can also check out Channel Fireball and Star City Games and look at some articles there on play styles and decks, since you seem like you’re more of an advanced player than you let on ;]. You can also post your decklists on tumblr and the Magic community here will give you great feedback, as they have for me in the past. Thank you! <3

Find a really patient and kind teacher. This is incredibly important! You deserve respect and consideration, so if you’re having a rough time understanding something and the person helping you is not being supportive enough for you, reconsider your options. You don’t deserve to feel inadequate just because you’re a new player. That is advice I would have LOVED to have when I first started! 

As far as actual game play mechanics, I learned a lot from playing the Magic games that you can get through Steam, such as Magic Origins, which I believe is free to play. You can also go to your local game shop and see if they have a night where you can play casually or have guidance in how to play. To practice deck construction, I purchased one of those premade duel deck sets and then played around with both of the decks and figured out what they were missing and what I liked about them, and built towards that. I used tappedout.net to browse other people’s decks and build my own and draw test hands, just to get a feel for the game and deck before I went through with buying any cards for it. Make sure you’re having fun and that you feel safe, at all times. If you don’t feel safe, you can talk to your local judge and they will intervene on your behalf. You do not have to tolerate any abuse/negativity from the community, and you definitely don’t deserve it.

Aphrodite, Artemis, Demeter

Aphrodite: Humor is the most important thing, then how they treat others. Also, they have to love all the animals, and share my excitement and enthusiasm about thing that make me happy (as I would for them)

Artemis: I literally love all creatures, but I’m gonna have to say dogs are my fave, because there’s nothing like coming home after a tiring day to see an excited little furry face in the doorway waiting to attack you with love (plus they get excited and wag their tails so hard their butt wiggles and that’s cute as heck)

Demeter: I have always and will always love the fall. It sucks here in FL, because the leaves don’t change or fall, and everything is basically the same except it gets a little cooler, but I still love the crispness of the air, how the mood changes from summer fun to a little more eerie and well, Halloween happens and that’s basically what I live for

1. the meaning behind my url - Okay so in case you guys never knew this, I’ve been apart of marching band my entire high school career (currently a senior). Anyways, every weekday after school we’d have band practice to march sets to prepare for the competitions we normally had the following Saturdays. On Wednesdays, however, we’d have a director from a neighboring county help us make visuals or whatever. So here I am, 16 year old kid, standing on the practice field and the instructor just called me out and was like “Chance Da Romancee..” and I guess he liked it so much that after practice he was telling the rest of the band that they should spread that nickname around to make it stick. So, anyways, yeah. If you thought it had something to do with how I woo the ladies you wouldn’t be wrong, but you also wouldn’t be right. 2. a picture of me- Just posted two before I even knew I got this ask omg 3. tattoos i have- No tattoos.. yet!
