Went to my gynecologist on Tuesday to get some left over granulation tissue cauterized with silver nitrate. Because of EDS, my body was slower to heal, and there was still a tiny bit that needed help. As long as this heals up, I should be good to finally just go to yearly appointments! I was super surprised at my appointment, they put me in an accessible exam room! The exam table was low to the ground, and my doctor could adjust it as she needed too. And there was lots of room for mobility aids. Whenever I make appointments there, I'm going to request that room. It was so much easier and safer for me to get on that low table versus the taller ones they have.
