Poll for Research & Application Class
Hi guys! One of my Graphic Design classes this semester is called Research and Application. What we do in the class is kind of up to us (that is, even at this point I feel it's still pretty vague and I'm not sure where we're going with it). We have 2 projects for the semester. The first is only 2 weeks long, and the second takes up the rest of the remaining semester. Essentially the first project is a warm up, to get us used to the 'research & apply' aspect of design. It's a popular method to gather information for various projects, graphic design or otherwise. I'm not particularly experienced in it myself, hence the class, but also the class is one of my requirements for my BFA degree. Here is where you come in! As per my warmup assignment, I need to choose 2 research methods from my 'Research Strategies/Tactics' packet that I was given. One of the tactics I wanted to try was doing a survey! I was going to do a poll originally, but my questions are very opinion based, so I needed a more 'personal' approach to get accurate information not skewed by my own word choice. All I need from you guys is in your own words an answer to these questions. It's nothing serious, just some questions I wanted to gather other people's opinions on, to see how they differ from my own. Here are the questions, just copy & paste them in your post when you reply! Thank you guys for helping me out. ;w; Queen of procrastination waited a bit too long on this, I should have posted it say Fri or Sat but alas. 1. How do you define the term "information"? 2. What types of information do you think there are? List as many or as few as you would like.
3. Your Age/Gender. Name unnecessary! If age is uncomfortable for you, gender is fine. I just felt it would be interesting to map out the results of different gender/age groups.
Those of you on Aywas can reply on the thread I posted on site. I'd like to get as many responses to this as I can by tonight so spread it around if you could! ;w;
Need some help. oAo;
.. I don't normally do this but I'm stuck (and I procrastinated too much already ahh) and could use some help.
First of all.. I have a graphic design class assignment where I have to brainstorm (at least 100) words or phrases expresses something about myself -- about who am I (and not what I do or like to do).
What I'm asking for is to share any word or phrase (or more if you feel inclined to share) that describes me (or what you think of me if that's easier to comprehend). An example word my professor provided (and is unusable from thereon) is sore loser. Something like that.
You can either reply to this post (if possible) or send me a note. Thank you!! ;A;
My assignment is due Thursday but I need to have nearly everything (brainstorming, 20+ thumbnails, picture/stock collection), basic photoshop work etc.) done by Tuesday. I hope I can get most of the basic done tonight though. =A=; This week is going to be really busy orz.
Thank you!!
And I got a ton of responses in my crosspost in dA. So this objective is most definitely completed.
