We seek an assertive graphic designer proficient in Mac OSX and Adobe Creative Suite and has a background interest in graphic design, Illustration, Branding, and Packaging. Motion Graphics is a plus. The Graphic Designer must be capable of taking the initiative to work on an individual basis. Above all, the enthusiastic graphic designer must like to have fun and create excellent communications. The graphic designer will collaborate with the creative director and marketing partner on various projects and create branding, packaging, illustrations, and motion graphics projects for local, national, and international clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain the creative vision and beliefs of the Creative Director
• Accountable for creative excellence of personal design contributions
• Conducts conceptual exploration of design alternatives
• Participates in meetings; explains and substantiates existing or potential design direction
• With input from the creative director, further explores specific design concepts, begins refinement of concepts
• Prepares prototypes and designs for client presentation
• Collaborates with other assigned project team members
• Seeks out opportunities for personal creative growth by working outside area of expertise
KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Working knowledge of visual communications logo and letterforms
• Proficiency in Macintosh design programs: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. After Effects a plus.
• Good listening skills
