I really enjoyed making this app.
More final ideas.
Elderly Vision on Apps:
Elderly people who have problem with their vision are not going to be as fond of the apps. I have researched that main problems are to do with font size, colour scheme and 90% would prefer an app to be simple and to the point. I am going to conclude this information into my app as it has to apply to all age groups and everypersons needs. Here are some websites that i found helpful:
http://www.assistireland.ie/eng/Information/Information_Sheets/Apps_for_People_with_Disabilities_and_Older_People.html#Apps for People with Visual Impairments http://www.patient.co.uk/doctor/gradual-loss-of-vision http://www.nhsaaa.net/media/177640/rcop10v.pdf
Health Check Apps:
The best health check app that i liked from the Live Project heath check facebook page was : http://www.hearthealthmobile.com/ - looks simple and easy to use. http://www.bhf.org.uk/bmi/home.html - i like how the website was able to measure your bmi and make an character match your body weight. http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Toolslibrary.aspx - i liked it because it brought many different options on board for apps like a calorie checker,an non smoking app and another bmi checker. These websites are very useful.Â
