Pearl stood there a moment, listening to the music, considering the situation. Then, impulsively, she decided to grab Cleo's wrist and pull them close.
They stumbled into her, eyes widening and a confused expression dawning their face, before giving her a grin. Pearl gave them a smug expression before twirling them back dramatically.
This time, they didn't hesitate, falling into a graceful position and embracing a wide smile. They spun back into pearl, wrapping her arms around themself to Pearl's surprise.
Cleo pressed up against her cheek and gave her a triumphant expression, signaling to her that this was a game and she was losing.
Not a problem.
She used her grasp around them to spin them both around, loosening Cleo's attachment on her and giving her the opportunity to dip them. Pearl chuckled as Cleo's face scrunched up. Smart move, she could hear them saying.
But before they could think, Cleo had grabbed ahold of her hands and pulled themself up, getting uncomfortably close to her face with a very cheeky smile. They put their arm around her back and started waltzing with her casually.
Pearl giggled, having to restrain herself from stepping on Cleo's feet. She could easily tell from their expression that Cleo was thinking the same thing.
She gazed into their bright yellow eyes for a moment, admiring the gold shine reflecting from them, before twisting away into a polite curtsy with an imaginary skirt. Cleo snorted, giving an exaggerated bow. Scott simply raised an eyebrow, before clapping slowly, mocking them both. Pearl only turned a little bit red.
