Great Paw Ep. 19 is live! Go give it a watch, like and subscribe!
Hello, we are the Grassfinder channel!
We are a co-owned YouTube channel focusing primarily on Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e.
We record our TTRPG sessions and post them on our YouTube channel, while also recording brainstorming sessions to be posted on our Patreon.
We have a Bluesky account, where we post campaign art and links to our videos, but we will also post here on Tumblr.
FAQ
Who are you? We are a brother and sister duo that love TTRPGs along with our players. We hail from northeastern USA!
Can I make fan art of the characters? Absolutely! We just ask that you not depict any of the characters committing acts in support of hate groups. We do not tolerate Nazis, homophobes, TERFS, etc., here.
What's your stance on AI content? We are fully anti-AI. We have noticed some AI gen content in our videos, and we are working to remove all of that, to ensure we are completely people-made.
Stance on LGBTQ+? We fully support LGBTQ+ without reservation! 🏳🌈🌈
Does "grass" mean weed? Yes it does.
Why Pathfinder/Starfinder? We witnessed the OGL scandal, and decided we did not want to stake our channel on a company that would backstab us. So we went for Paizo instead.
Will you consider playing other TTRPG systems? Yes, but only when we have time to play them.
How can I easily look up your videos? You can find them on our YouTube channel, or on Tumblr under the tags #GrassfinderVideo or #actualplay.
Can we submit asks? Our Ask Box is open, but not to anonymous asks (@victorlincolnpine (moderator of this account) here, I figure it best to keep things honest and open, and will not be opening anon asks for the foreseeable future).
We will add more FAQ items as they come up.
Frontier of Man, episode 3 is now live!
No spoilers, but CLIV gets some closure here.
Raise your hand if your games have subtle (or not so subtle) commentary on stuff that's happening today.
Plotlines that remark on the political climate.
Villains that are very similar to real villains of the world.
Quests that have the heroes right wrongs we wish we could right IRL.
etc.
Our GM for the Great Paw campaign has a show this Saturday, so we'll be recording a Grasscast episode instead of Great Paw.
Grasscast is a fully theatre of the mind improv session run by Christian. It will look a little different from normal episodes and be audio only.
Grasscast is our backup for when I (Mod @victorlincolnpine) can't be there to record the session with our usual setup. It will still have the usual music, but likely no added sound effects apart from general ambience We will have lots of Grasscast episodes during the late fall and winter semesters as the show season revs up. But you all know you're in good hands with Christian.
Tomorrow
The first backstory session for the Frontier of Man campaign is now live! Go give it a watch!
There will be 3 of these before the campaign starts for real, encompassing levels 1 through 3.
This is 1 of 3.
Our next video is up, we had to ban a player, and we've welcomed a new player
Our latest video is up on YouTube! (it was there for a couple days, but we were distracted for a bit)
Here we announce that we banned a player, and invited a new player to take her place.
To elaborate on the player we banned, it was Lila's player.
The reasons for her ban were long thought over and revolve around a lack of communication with any of her GMs, and repeated use of GenAI content for character art.
We do not accept GenAI material in our campaigns or channel.
That being said, we welcome our new player, Luna, in her role as Zuni Dreamweaver, and look forward to plenty of sessions of fun and roleplay, without GenAI.
We hope you enjoy this episode, and as always, keep wondering if a mouse can kill a god.
