OKAY this is Benny and Ollie

Benny and Ollie are siblings! Yay! Not so yay though, they’re a 16 and 19 y/o that have been living in a zombie apocalypse for nearly their entire lives. But, wait, here’s a yay! Benny is immune to the zombie virus !! Yippee !!!

That’s a pretty interesting thing, though — and, has cause for some folks to believe he could bring about a cure to this apocalypse. Specifically, these two guys, Gabe and Barrett

Gabe and Barrett run a large-scale laboratory that, for the past 15 years, has been completely and fully dedicated to trying to find a way to get the world out of its apocalypse-ridden stupor — technically, it’s only really Gabe leading all of this, but Barrett’s strong enough help (and close enough with Gabe wink wink) that he’s considered like … co-lead … idk anyways

Gabe gets a little TOO excited about Benny’s immunity, to the point he’s ready to get reeeaaall unethical about a lot of things reasaalllyy quick. Barrett, Benny, and Ollie don’t especially like that, so they all three dip out of the lab together, going on the run from Gabe and whoever’s bold/dedicated enough in that place to follow him.

The whole story is just a big giant conglomeration of complicated found family and horrifically doomed characters/relationships but I … I love them so much …

I’d also like to say the ‘infection’ thing is honestly way cooler and complicated than I’m making it seem — and, a friend of mine came up with all of it, he’s just awesome enough to let me use it for my silly zombie story heehee
