Father's Day, a time when he normally would have gone from seeing his friends to home, seeing his sisters making dinner while their dad stood by, loving on them all. Memories of past times of the day flitted through his head as he stood, flowers in hand -- right next to his mother's grave.

Isshin's grave was beside his beloved, all done up for the day with ribbons, and his favorite sake. clearly Yuzu and Karin had been there, but avoiding Ichigo. Not to say they hated him, just that the pain was still fresh, after all it was only four years past...

Setting the flowers he had down upon the grave, Ichigo stood there and cried. It was at that moment that he felt so small.
