my personal take on jackson jekyll and holt hyde is that they are twins, with separate bodies and consciousnesses, but switch bodies/minds under certain circumstances. like in canon, where holt will just appear where jackson is, except javkson will end up where holt was. it happens most often when one of them is overwhelmed, usually nearing a meltdown. the switching doesnt really help too much, but it does take one of them out of the situation.
