Humans needed a lot of help. If Hesediel was a prideful angel -- and he was -- he’d think humans were lucky just to have him walking among them. Of course, his identity as an angel was a closely guarded secret. He couldn’t let that slip. Heaven had eyes and ears everywhere. Instead, he masqueraded as a healer. He had to help them. Someone had to, and Heaven was never going to actively save humans. The door to his current “pop-up shop” opened and footsteps approached his table, “If you’re looking for healing, services are done for the day.”
