🤲 - is your character better at receiving touch or giving it? under what circumstances?
def receiving. zavrik is really emotionally closed off, so showing physical affection is very very rare. he doesnt really,,, do anything when someone touches him, unless he’s allowing himself to be vulnerable and emotional.
👋 - someone waves at your character. what do they do?
depends on who waves! another guardian or civ soldier or whatever, they get a nod of acknowledgement. if it’s a lil kiddo in the city, he’ll give a small wave back. if it’s aurora, xen, or xevuul, he sighs and waits for the tackle-hug he’s sure to receive at any moment.
💪 - would your character be more likely to scoop someone up in their arms, or be the one getting scooped?
xen is BIG they do the scoop!!! they love to carry around their friends all the time. even mikris who is as tall as them!! they’re the “will pick you up and spin around when you hug” kinda guy lmao.
✌️ - are there any gestures or touches that your character shares with a friend/team/loved one that are a type of code between them?
aurora and mikris have a lot! they’re so in tune with each other’s emotional states and so familiar that they just know what to look for all the time.
aurora and zavrik are similar, but it’s not as intimate and it’s a bit more purposeful. zavrik is very controlled, so if his fingers twitch or tremble, then aurora is immediately on guard. aurora knows the hunter’s sign language and taught zavrik the basics, so they use those in the field. they’ve been best friends so long they can pretty much have an entirely nonverbal conversation.
xen is a lot more expressive all the time. their tail especially reveals their emotions--it’s a bit cat-like. they also are a very open friendly person, and a very big person, so they don’t really rely on secret codes and stuff, but they also use gestures and sign language for stealthy field work... not that they’re stealthy lmao
